The Problem
It is estimated that between 20 and 36 million people are trapped in slavery - more than at any point in our history. Human trafficking (sex and labor) is a multi-billion dollar criminal industry, and no matter where you live, chances are it is happening close by.
The Solution
Dressember aims to create a world without slavery, a world where all people are able to live autonomously. Dressember participants raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking by committing to wear a dress all month. Those who participate spread awareness and encourage other people to donate to the cause. In the last three years, Dressember has raised 1.5 million dollars to fight human trafficking.
