The Problem
Raising a family is tough. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Caring for an elderly member of a family can be equally difficult. Sadly, there are not enough resources provided to help families at such critical junctures. Family Lifeline helps families with young children and families with older adults or people with disabilities.
The Solution
Family Lifeline partners with individuals and families at critical points in their lives to strengthen overall well-being and independence by delivering intensive home and community-based services. Family Lifeline works to solve the root of problems, building on assets, and creating lasting impact. All of our services are prevention-focused, strengths-based, culturally-informed, and outcomes driven. And we take these services into the community to teach, nurture, and support individuals and families in impactful and lasting ways. Family Lifeline has operated for 140 years focused on the central Virginia community, serving those families most in need of support.
