The Problem

When students are offered the opportunity to pursue their passions, they begin a new path to self-discovery that leads to confidence, independence, and college and career success. However, many students struggle to gain access to educational and enrichment opportunities.

That’s why Wishbone sends low-income high school students to high-quality summer programs. We work to ensure that all young people have access to meaningful educational opportunities.

Our Goal? To enable even more teens to define their future and pursue their passions.

The Solution

Over 1,550 high school students have had eye-opening, life-changing experiences with the help of Wishbone since its founding in 2012. With a unified process that connects schools, summer programs, and funders across the education ecosystem, Wishbone equips students with everything they need to discover and attend a rewarding program.

While each student’s story is unique, we consistently hear a powerful theme. Cameron, a 2017 Wishbone student, sums up the impact it had on him perfectly: “My experience made me realize how much potential I have.”
